Yay! Now not only do you get to pay for Xbox Live, you also get the joys of advertisement everywhere.
Why are we paying if we are going to get bombarded with this crap?

There are already ads within certain parts of the dashboard and that's not counting the free gamer pics and wallpapers (which are all just essentially ads). I've seen adverts for sexifying-body wash and movie trailers between the Deal of the Week and Major's Minute. Unless they are talking about more intrusive ads, its already happening.

If that is the case, then what is the use of having a background? It is mostly covered up now anyways and added garbage that I do not want to see is going to clutter up the rest of it. This would be a horrible move.
